Standardization

We will work with you to develop a standard platform for your Information System. This will include, at a minimum, the desktop Operating System; Applications & Versions; and equipment manufacturers. This standardization plan will be implemented in a manner consistent with Information System upgrade and modification requirements so that you don’t have to replace everything at once ever again.

Standardizing the Information System environment in your organization significantly reduces the number of day-to-day problems that occur in your organization. Often, the slight differences in equipment or software can cause an operation that works on one desktop to fail miserably on another. We will work with you through the Information System planning and implementation process to move your organization to an Information System environment that is as standardized as possible.

The rate of change in Information Technology, and the differences in requirements across your organization will work to prevent us from achieving a completely standardized desktop environment, but we will continue to strive toward standardization through our planning process.
